Stir fry Vegetables (Ginisang gulay)

Im sure that most of the mom used to open their fridge before they will decide what they will cook for dinner. I am proud to say that I am one of them:)) Today I cook  "stir fry vegetables" my version. My husband and kids love this food and I like it when they chew the crunchy veges:) This is a guranteed crunchy veges version of stir frying.




Ingredients:



2 tbsp of cooking oil
500g of pork meat (cut into strips and marinated  with 2 tbsp soy sauce , 1 tbsp oyster sauce)
2 small carrots (sliced into strips)
1 potato,optional ( sliced into strips)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 bell pepper( green or red, sliced into strips)
half of broccoli( divide into small parts/bits)
6pcs   mini/baby corns
10 pieces water kastanje
2 tbsp soy sauce
 2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch or potato flour diluted in a half glass of water ( to thicken the sauce)

You can add your family's favorite vegetables,depends upon what you like.


Procedure:

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Saute the garlic and then the onion.



Add the meat and cover the pan . Let it fry for 5 mins. (stir once in a while)


Add carrots and potato. Stir fry for 5 mins.



Add baby corn,broccoli, water kastanje, soya sauce and oyster sauce. Stir fry for 3 mins.


Add the cornstarch and water mixture to thicken the sauce.



 Stir fry until the sauce is thicken. And it's done!!




My stir fry vegetables served with rice.
